The Perfect Bachelorette Party in Miami!

I am in the age bracket of “everybody is getting married” and it is officially my first time being A MOH for my bestie. To say that I am EXCITED is a complete understatement! Trust me, I live for this shit. I love planning everything. This may be due to the fact that I am, undeniably, a control freak but that’s just the simple truth. My best friend Mary Kate and I have been friends since the first few weeks of college at Florida State. My first memories are of her is streaking through the halls of Jennie Murphree. If you know you know.

Now, I have been to a handful of Bachelorette parties and they have all been well planned and of course FAB! Consequently, I’ve had a few great examples to follow. However, I needed to up my game.  When thinking about planning a bachelorette it may seem overwhelming but, in fact, it’s pretty simple!!! Once you have the LOCATION, # of PPL it all comes down to the details! It also doesn’t hurt when you enlist the help of a professional. Trust me it’ll be worth every penny. The amount of time it would have taken me to plan our final itinerary would have taken me hours upon hours and ya know… time is money.

I decided to work with Hilary from In the Know Experiences. Hilary and I have a ton of mutual friends and she plans some of the most fabulous trips you will ever see. Just follow her on Instagram here! It also helps that she had her very own Bachelorette Party at the same hotel! Booking any accommodation through Hilary and In The Know Experiences is always complimentary with added perks. However, if you want a tailored itinerary there is an additional fee and, in my opinion, that fee is often made up in the added value of your experience. #WORTHIT!!! The options were overwhelming as the number of amazing restaurant choices and things to do in Miami seemed endless. Yet, Hilary was able to give expert recommendations for the perfect weekend.

With Covid of course being a concern, we decided not to leave the country. We landed on MIAMI and The 1 Hotel. I had been there once before and knew it would be hit for all of the girls (all 14 of us lol). We upgraded one of the rooms to a suite with a balcony. The website doesn’t do a great job of showing photos but the room was a perfect for a daily HQ! It had a full kitchen, pull out couch, sitting area, and much more. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out during the lingerie shower, pregame before dinner and have a pizza party one night :)

As the suite would be home base, we stocked it with ALL of the BIOLYTE, Volley, Water, Redbull, Liquor, and snacks galore! BIOLYTE recently came out with their NEW tropical flavor and, let me tell you, that was the first item to go. It not only saves you after a night of indulgence but tastes DELISH!

Decor really makes an event and it’s my favorite part of planning!  As you can see from the photos – the decorating really set the tone for the weekend and gets everyone motivated for some bona fide merriment.  A well themed and decorated event can take any function from “first-rate” to “off the charts”.  We even had a logo designed for the weekend and put it on cups + shirts.  We hit the décor component out of the ballpark if you ask me.

Tote Bags

Cabana Towels

Sunglasses

Tanks for everyone from University Tees

Groom Temporary Tattoos

BRIDE Balloons

BRIDE Straw

White Balloons

String for Balloons

Balloon Pump

Cups from Sequins and Lipstick

Classy Penis Straw

Booty Veil (i think these were hilarious)

The most requested items of the weekend were the bride’s outfits. I mean she did look like a bridal supermodel. You can shop for all of her swimsuits below.

So, remember, get help with the planning, pick an amazing locale, step up your game on the décor, ensure there is food and drink aplenty and relax – a good time is guaranteed for all.
