The Perfect Masters Party
Well, well, well… aren’t we lucky! We get 2 Masters Tournaments in the span of 6 months! 2020 am I right?! The Masters is truly a tradition unlike any other. For me, it’s not about the golf or who wins (yes that’s fun and all), but it’s about the tradition, food and fun! It evokes memories of me as a child watching the tournament with my grandfather, nestled on his lap in the recliner, eating pimento cheese sandwiches, potato chips, and drinking lemonade (with sugar, of course)! My grandfather even wore a green jacket for every special occasion (Easter, Christmas, Birthday, Wedding, you name it)!!!
While we may not be throwing big Masters parties or heading to Augusta this year, we can still have a fun “at-home” party to celebrate! Plus, it gives me an excuse to eat pretty much everything!
