I had the best time visiting Rock House Farm and Creamery with The Dairy Alliance last week. I learned a wealth of information about a real Georgia Dairy farm. They use traditional production methods, honoring the animals and the land. With minimal processing, Rock House’s products are as close to natural as it comes. They have 100% hands down the best chocolate milk in the game (it tastes like melted ice cream). As we transitioned into learning about their exquisite cheese selection, I knew their cheddar would be the perfect selection for this easy + fun recipe below!

I’ve obviously been a dairy lover since I came out of the womb but since working with The Dairy Alliance over the past year, I’ve been educated on the importance of dairy farms and using products that are not over-processed. Cheese is a great source of calcium, fat, and protein. It also contains high amounts of vitamins A and B-12, along with zinc, phosphorus, and riboflavin. Cheese made from the milk of 100 percent grass-fed animals is the highest in nutrients and also contains omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin K-2.

Ingredients

1 package of organic ground turkey breast (the weight of my package was 1 1/3 lbs)

2 cloves of garlic minced

1/4 cup of Rock Hill Farm cheddar cheese (any full fat cheese will do)

1/4 cup red onion finely chopped

1/4 cup of mixed bell peppers finely chopped

1 small jalapeño diced (remove the seeds)

Seasoning (I don’t measure just feel it)

Generous Salt and Pepper

Cayenne

Red Clay Original Hot Sauce

Onion Powder

Mix everything together form into small meat patties. Put on the grill or stovetop.

I used lettuce for lettuce bun - lame I know. Use a brioche if you are living.

I garnished mine with a slice of Rock Hill Cheddar, tomato, red onion, pickled jalapeños, and sriacha aioli from Terrapin Farms. You can really have so much fun with this recipe and change it up/add subtract things you don’t like! Make it your own! :)
